Have you got any of these?

postal history
I have sold a lot of postal history items on eBay, they normally all sell and fetch anything from £2 to £50 depending on interest factor such as wax seals, multiple frankings, date and condition. The above two items do look fairly similar and so as usual I listed them at 99p start price and left them to the mercy of the eBay buyers. Fairly quickly there seemed to be bit of interest with the item on the left because of the Guernsey postmark on the reverse but more so because of the St Peters franking on the front. I was asked by a couple of potential buyers for the specific colour of the franking which I thought was strange. However item on the right sold for just over £4 and the one on the left finished at £510 the most surprising sale I have had on eBay!
